What it's for
Other Events is a catch-all for life milestones that don't fit Birthdays, Weddings, Baptism, or Funeral, dedications, ordinations, or any other significant church-recognized event.
Adding a record
From Life Events, then Other, create a record with a title, member, date, and notes, the title field is what distinguishes different "Other" events from each other since there's no fixed category list.
Because "Other" has no fixed sub-types, keep your title wording consistent (for example, always "Child Dedication" rather than varying phrasing) if you plan to search or report on a specific kind of event later.
