How Life Events Appear on a Member's Profile
Every recorded milestone lives on the member's own profile, not just in the Life Events module.
Where to see a member's history
Rather than needing to search each Life Events tab separately, a member's own profile brings together every recorded milestone, birthday (from their date of birth), weddings, baptism, funeral, or other events, in one place alongside their attendance and giving history.
Why this matters for pastoral care
Someone reviewing a member's profile before a visit or conversation gets a fuller picture in one screen, rather than needing to separately check four different Life Events tabs to piece together the same context.
Before a significant pastoral visit, check the member's full profile rather than just their attendance record, a recent Life Event (a recorded baptism, a family wedding) is often relevant context that attendance data alone won't surface.
Best practice
When training new staff on Sermfy, point them to the member profile as the starting point for understanding any individual, rather than teaching them to check each module separately, it's the faster and more complete path in almost every case.
