Kiosk Mode for Events: Auto-Reset and Offline Support
Turn a tablet at your entrance into a self-service registration station that resets itself between guests.
Getting a kiosk link
From the Events list, use Copy Kiosk Link, this produces a special version of your event's registration link built for unattended use, distinct from the regular registration link you'd share by text or social media.
What happens after someone registers
Once a guest completes registration on the kiosk, a countdown appears and the screen automatically resets itself for the next guest, with a "Register Next Guest" option to reset immediately rather than waiting out the full countdown.
Works even with spotty venue wifi
Kiosk pages are set up to keep working through brief connectivity drops, with an offline fallback so a shaky venue connection doesn't leave your entrance table showing an error page mid-service.
Add the kiosk page to the tablet's home screen rather than just leaving a browser tab open, it behaves more like a dedicated app and is less likely to be accidentally closed or navigated away from by a guest.
Best practice
Test your kiosk link on the actual device and network you'll use at the venue beforehand, not just at your office, venue wifi is often worse than expected, and confirming the offline fallback behaves as intended is worth doing ahead of a real event.
