Building the Address Composite Field

Configure exactly which address parts show, and how State depends on Country.

What the Address field collects

The Address (composite) field stores one structured entry covering Address line, Apartment, City, State, Zip, and Country, each part can be independently enabled and marked required through its own settings editor, rather than a single free-text box.

State depends on Country

When Country is enabled, the State field automatically adjusts to that country's actual regions or states, falling back to free text for countries without a predefined region list.

Only enable the parts you actually need. A short internal form probably doesn't need Apartment or Zip, keeping the field lean makes for a faster, less intimidating public form.

Best practice

If your church operates in one country, disable Country entirely and let State default to your own region list, this removes a field visitors never actually need to touch and speeds up submission.
