Generating a Membership Card
Step-by-step for generating a single membership card, and what's included on the default template.
Where to start
From Documents, then Membership Cards, choose a template, select a member, and generate. Sermfy renders the card as a real PDF in the background rather than a static image, so text stays sharp regardless of print size.
What's on the card
The default "Classic Membership Card" template includes the church logo, member photo, name, member code, member type, branch, date joined, and a check-in QR code, sized to standard ID-card dimensions (85.6mm × 53.98mm).
The QR code on a membership card currently identifies the member but isn't yet wired to a scanning flow, treat it as reserved for an upcoming check-in feature rather than something you can scan today.
How long it takes
Generation happens on Sermfy's background document engine, not instantly in your browser, a single card typically finishes within a few seconds; you'll see its status update from Queued to Ready.
