Bulk-Generating Membership Cards for Multiple Members
How bulk card generation processes in the background, and what happens if one member's card fails.
When to use bulk generation
If you need cards for a whole group, department, or your entire membership, select multiple members (or "Select All" from a filtered list) instead of generating one at a time.
How it processes
Bulk jobs are handed off to Sermfy's document engine and processed one member at a time in the background, you don't need to keep the page open, each member's card becomes downloadable as soon as it's ready rather than waiting for the whole batch.
For very large churches, kick off a bulk job and check back in a few minutes rather than watching the progress bar, the engine intentionally processes conservatively to keep card quality and church logo/photo rendering consistent.
If a card fails
An individual member's card can fail independently (most often a missing or corrupted photo), the rest of the batch continues unaffected, and you can retry just the failed ones.
