Full Names Now Include Middle Names
Full names across Members, Groups, and search results now show a person's middle name when one is on file, cutting down on mix-ups.
Middle names now appear by default
Every displayed full name across Sermfy, in Members, Groups, search results, and elsewhere, now includes a person's middle name when they have one on file, rather than showing only a first and last name.
Why this helps
Churches often have multiple members who share a first and last name, a middle name showing up automatically makes it much easier to tell people apart at a glance, without having to open each record to check.
This only shows a middle name if one is already recorded for that person, it doesn't add or require one, members without a middle name on file display exactly as they did before.
Best practice
If you're entering or editing member records, take the extra moment to fill in a middle name when you have it, it makes a real difference anywhere names are displayed side by side, like in search results or group lists.
