Jumping Quickly to a Year in Any Date Picker
Use the year-jump control to land on an old birthdate or historical record instantly instead of clicking through months.
The year-jump control
Every date picker in Sermfy now includes a fast year-jump control, so picking a date from years ago, an older birthdate, a founding date, a historical record, doesn't mean clicking "previous month" dozens of times to get there.
When this matters most
This is most useful for fields where the date is likely to be far from today, member birthdates, anniversaries, historical giving records, anywhere the natural date is measured in years rather than weeks.
Combine the year-jump with typing to search, jump to the right year first, then type the rest of the date, it's the fastest way through an older date field.
Best practice
For any date more than a year or two in the past, use the year-jump control first rather than clicking through months, it turns what used to be a slow scroll into a couple of clicks.
