What You Can Include in a Sender ID Request
Request your real multi-word church or ministry name as a Sender ID, spaces are now accepted.
Multi-word names now work
Sender ID requests now accept spaces in the requested name, so a normal multi-word church or ministry name goes through without needing to be squeezed into a single word or abbreviated to get past the request form.
Why this matters
Previously, only certain characters were accepted in a Sender ID request, which blocked names that included spaces, forcing churches to submit something shorter or less recognizable than their actual name just to get a request approved.
Best practice
Request the name your recipients will actually recognize on their phone, your full church or ministry name if it fits, rather than an abbreviated version chosen to work around a character limitation that no longer applies.
