Setting a Primary Sender ID

Choose which approved Sender ID is used by default for your messages when your church has more than one.

What a Primary Sender ID does

If your church has more than one approved Sender ID, you can mark one of them as Primary, so it's the one used by default when you send messages without picking a different one for that specific message.

Automatic default on approval

The moment a new Sender ID gets approved, it's automatically set as your default if you don't already have one set, so churches sending their first Sender ID request don't need to take any extra step to start using it.

Best practice

If you request and get approved for multiple Sender IDs, for different ministries or campuses for example, take a moment to review which one is marked Primary rather than leaving it to whichever got approved first, that way your default sends go out under the name you actually want most often.
