Sera reports patterns, not causes
Sera will tell you that a member missed three services in a row or that attendance is trending down, it won't tell you why, it doesn't invent a reason behind a pattern, and it never renders a pastoral judgment about what an absence pattern means for a specific person, that stays a decision for your church's leadership.
Sera never overrides your permissions
Sera shows you exactly what your role, branch, and finance permissions already allow you to see elsewhere in Sermfy, nothing more, chat answers respect the same access rules as the rest of the app, there's no separate, more permissive view through Ask Sera.
Sera won't guess when data is thin
If your church doesn't have enough history to answer a question honestly, Sera says so rather than manufacturing a confident-sounding statistic, and for a brand-new church it won't ask for a quarter's worth of trends when you've only been using Sermfy for two weeks.
