Ending a Group Meeting
Formally close out a group meeting once it's finished, using the End Meeting action on that meeting's row.
What End Meeting does
Each meeting occurrence in the Meetings tab has an End Meeting action, this formally closes out the meeting once it's actually over, marking it as done rather than leaving it sitting open.
When to use it
Use End Meeting after attendance has been marked and the meeting has actually concluded, it's the step that moves a meeting from open to completed.
How it affects filtering
Ending a meeting is what lets it show up correctly under the Completed filter in the Meetings tab, an occurrence that's never been ended will keep appearing as if it's still upcoming or in progress.
Best practice
Make ending the meeting part of your routine right after marking attendance, doing both in the same sitting keeps the Meetings tab an accurate reflection of what's actually happened.
