Understanding Monthly Income on Your Finance Overview

See why the Finance Overview now shows a running current-month total instead of just last week's giving.

What changed

The figure on your Finance Overview that used to be labeled "Offering Last Week" is now called Monthly Income, and it reflects income for the current month as a running total, not just the trailing week.

Why this is more useful

A single week's number resets every week and doesn't tell you much about how the month as a whole is trending, Monthly Income accumulates as the month goes on, so you get a running sense of where you stand against a typical month, rather than a snapshot that only covers the last seven days.

Best practice

Use Monthly Income as your at-a-glance pulse check throughout the month, but pair it with the detailed finance records and date-range filters when you need to compare one month against another or dig into a specific stretch of giving.
