Understanding the Check-In Screen: Unchecked, Checked, and History

What each of the three Check-In tabs shows, and how the floating Save bar works.

The three tabs

  • Unchecked - everyone expected who hasn't been checked in yet for this session
  • Checked - everyone already marked present in this session
  • History - a record of check-in activity for this specific session, separate from the church-wide Attendance History page

Saving your check-ins

A floating Save Check-Ins bar appears only when there's something unsaved, check a few people in and it appears above the bottom navigation, tap it to commit those check-ins.

You don't need to save after every single check-in. Check several people in as they arrive, then save in a batch, the bar stays visible the whole time there's unsaved work.

Best practice

If you're running check-in with more than one device or staff member at the same entrance, agree on who's responsible for hitting Save periodically, so no one assumes someone else already did it during a busy arrival period.
