Checking People In: QR, Camera Scan, and Kiosk Mode
The three ways to check members and visitors into a service, and when to use each one.
QR Device (physical scanner)
If your church uses a dedicated handheld or desktop barcode scanner, no extra setup is needed. Point it at a member's QR code and it checks them in instantly.
Camera Scan
Any device with a camera can scan QR codes directly through the browser. Choose Camera Scan from the check-in screen, allow camera access, and hold a member's QR code up to the camera.
Kiosk Mode
Built for an unattended check-in station. It runs full-screen with no menu or navigation, scans continuously, and shows large, clear feedback for success, duplicate check-in, or not found.
Check-in doesn't only search your Members list - visitors who've been to your church before can also be found and checked in the same way.
