Filtering People, Groups, Events, and Communication by Date
Use the same Year, Month, date-range, and Category filters across every overview page in Sermfy.
Where this applies
The overview pages for People, Groups, Events, Communication, and Finance all support the same set of filters now, Year, Month, a custom date range, and Category or Type, so you can narrow any of them down to a specific period without leaving the page.
Why the same filters everywhere helps
Having one consistent filtering pattern across every overview page means you don't have to relearn how filtering works each time you switch modules, the same Year, Month, and range controls behave the same way whether you're looking at new members, group activity, upcoming events, or outbound communication.
Category or Type per module
What counts as a Category or Type naturally differs by page, membership status on People, group type on Groups, event category on Events, and so on, but the filtering mechanism itself works identically across all of them.
Best practice
When you're preparing any kind of period report, whether it's new members this quarter or events run last month, reach for these built-in filters before exporting data elsewhere to work with, narrowing it down in Sermfy first is faster and keeps you working from the same numbers everyone else sees.
