What Happens When You Upgrade or Downgrade Your Plan
Your data and history are never affected by a plan change, only what's currently accessible.
What stays the same
Changing plans, up or down, never deletes or hides your existing members, attendance history, giving records, or any other data. A downgrade restricts what you can do going forward, it doesn't touch what you've already built.
What can change
A lower-tier plan may limit access to certain features or usage volumes (branches, SMS credits, storage, depending on your plan). If you're on a feature when you downgrade below its tier, you may lose the ability to use it going forward until you upgrade again.
Before downgrading, check which features you actively rely on against the plan comparison, it's better to confirm compatibility first than to discover a needed feature is now locked mid-week.
Best practice
If you're downgrading because of cost rather than because you've outgrown a feature, consider switching to yearly billing on your current plan first (see Sermfy Pricing Plans Explained), the savings may close the gap without needing to lose functionality.
