Getting Help: Contacting Sermfy Support
What to have ready before you reach out, so your issue gets resolved faster.
Before you contact support
Have these ready:
- Your church's name and, if relevant, which branch
- Roughly when the issue happened
- What you expected to happen versus what actually happened
- A screenshot, if the issue is visual
What to expect
Support responses aren't instant, especially for issues that need investigation against your specific church's data, a clear, specific description upfront significantly speeds up the first response you get.
For account/billing-specific questions (plan changes, payment issues), mention that explicitly, these often route differently than a general feature question.
Best practice
If an issue is affecting your church's ability to run an active service or event right now, say so clearly and explain the urgency, a routine question and a live-service-blocking issue benefit from being framed differently from the first message.
