Exporting Members to Excel or PDF
Select members and export them directly from the Members list, without going through the Reports wizard.
Where to find it
Select one or more members from the Members list using the row checkboxes, a bulk-action bar appears with Export Excel and Export PDF options.
Excel vs. PDF
- Excel exports as a real XLSX file, ready for further filtering, sorting, or use in another tool
- PDF exports with Sermfy's app-matching color scheme and formatting, better suited for printing or sharing as-is
How this differs from the Reports module
This is a quick, selection-based export directly from the list you're already looking at, the Reports module's Members report (see Generating a Members Report) is better when you need a filtered, column-customized report built through a guided wizard rather than exporting exactly what's currently selected.
Use the Members list's filters first (Member Type, Gender, Date Range) to narrow down to the group you care about, then select all and export, rather than manually checking dozens of individual rows.
Best practice
For a quick "give me this list right now" need, use this export. For a recurring, formatted report you'll hand to leadership or another department, use the Reports wizard instead, it gives you more control over exactly which columns appear.
