Bulk-Editing Multiple Members at Once
Change a shared field across several members in one action instead of editing each one individually.
What you can bulk-edit
Select multiple members from the list, then choose Bulk Edit from the action bar. Five fields are supported:
- Member Status
- Member Type
- Gender
- Marital Status
- Branch
When this is useful
The most common case is right after a Bulk Registration import, if a whole spreadsheet's worth of new members should all be set to a particular Member Type or moved to a specific branch, bulk edit lets you fix that in one action rather than opening each record.
Bulk Edit overwrites the chosen field for every selected member, there's no per-row exception within a single bulk-edit action. If even one member in your selection needs a different value, edit that one separately, either before or after the bulk action.
Best practice
Double-check your selection count before confirming a bulk edit, especially Branch changes, moving members to the wrong branch affects their visibility in branch-scoped screens like Check-in and Group Check-In immediately.
