Creating a Children's Ministry Class
Clarifies that a Children's Ministry class is just a Group with a special tag, created through the same Groups feature as any ministry.
A class is a Group underneath
A Children's Ministry "class" isn't a separate class-builder feature, it's a Group like any other ministry or team in your church, tagged with a Children's Ministry category so it shows up and behaves as a class within the module.
Creating and editing one
You create and edit a Children's Ministry class through the same Groups feature you'd use for a small group, a choir, or any other ministry team, the only thing that makes it a "class" rather than an ordinary group is that Children's Ministry tag.
Because a class is a Group, anything Groups already supports, membership, leaders, recurring events, applies to a class without any extra setup specific to Children's Ministry.
Best practice
Name classes by age range or grade rather than a generic label like "Room 1", it makes placing a new child at registration much faster for whoever's doing check-in, since the class name itself tells them where a child belongs.
